From the Wachau terrace, you can enjoy the highest and most beautiful view of the Danube.

The daisies dance in the wind, the butterflies flutter from blossom to blossom. At the Wachauterrasse you will not only be spoilt with the unique variety of species but also with the most beautiful view from the Jauerling: you can see across the Spitzer Graben to the Danube! To preserve this incredible view, the species-rich flower meadow is mown once a year by the Nature Park team. This keeps the meadow free of woody plants and thus a valuable habitat for insects such as butterflies.
